1) Hangzhou Quality Technology Standard Research Institute
Hangzhou Machinery Design Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources is engaged in research, design, development and manufacture of the equipment for water conservancy and hydropower construction, mechanical and electrical equipment for power station, and in general contracting. It also provides the services of supervision for water conservancy engineering, manufacture supervision for water conservancy and hydropower equipment, the quality examination for construction machinery and hydro power equipment, the study on quality standard of hydro power product, and the technical consultation as well.
It has been awarded the Engineering consultation Quality Certificate, Engineering Design Certificate, Quality Certificate for General contracting of Engineering, Quality Certificate for Lifting Equipment of Hydro Power Construction, Construction Supervision of Water Conservancy and Equipment Manufacture Supervision for Water Conservancy Engineering issued by the State Planning Committee, The Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Water resources separately, and the Certificate of Import & Export Enterprise issued by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
It has strong technical forces with advanced testing instruments. It has accumulated rich experience in this field and has involved in design and manufacture of several important high-tech projects invested by the state such as Three Gorges Project. Some of the products were awarded the Science and technology Progressive Prize at the national level and the Ministerial level. With the combination of scientific research and production, a series of services including development, design, manufacture, installation and commissioning has been realized. The service of equipment supervision for Hydro-electric engineering and the service of hydro-electric equipment testing have satisfied the clients. 2) Zhengzhou Hydraulic Machinery Factory
Zhengzhou Hydraulic Machinery Factory (hereinafter called ZHMF), a large state-owned enterprise, was established in 1955. It has very close relationship with the Ministry of Water Resources. ZHMF was registered at the Administration of Industry and Commerce of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, P.R. China. The trade mark of ZHMF's products was registered in October 1981 at the State Administration of Industry and Commerce of China. In October 1991, ZHMF was authorized to have the right of doing trade business directly with foreign countries. In 1995, we obtained the ISO9001 quality system certificate. The main products of ZHMF are sluice gates, penstocks, series of Hydraulic gate hoists, removing machines, Automatic concrete batching plants, tunnel borers, cranes and coal circular-feeders, air preheaters, boiler steel structures for thermal power plant, etc.
ZHMF is located in the city of Zhengzhou , where the two main railways of China , Jingguang Railway and Longhai Railway, converge there. A special railway of 2.5km long in ZHMF leads to the railways mentioned above, so it is very convenient for ZHMF to deliver its products. ZHMF covers an area of 260,000m 2 , 215,000 m 2 of which is the factory property. There are 1665 workers and staffs in ZHMF, including 25% engineers and technicians. All the workers have been well educated and systematically trained, so they are qualified and skilled in doing their jobs. ZHMF's annual output is more than 30000t.
There are 8 main workshops in ZHMF, which are separately specialized in casting/forging, steel structure fabricating, machining and assembling, hydraulic components manufacturing, as well as heat treatment, metal surface preparation, maintenance and power supply. Thus ZHMF has the ability of manufacturing, erecting and calibrating the heavy steel structure and the large-size machinery. In the headquarters, there are several technical units, led by experienced engineers, which are engaged in development of new products, technology research, technical information and standardization, quality control, quality inspection, welding technology, testing and measuring etc. Most of our products can be designed on our own.
ZHMF's testing and measuring center has been authorized as a second grade center by government. It can accurately perform chemical analyses, mechanical property tests and nondestructive detection of defects. Because of the perfect testing measurement and the effective quality control system, the excellent products of ZHMF have won a good reputation both at home and abroad. In recent years, ZHMF was awarded one gold and four silver medals by the state government due to the good quality of its products. The gold one is for the high pressure slide gates which were exported to Sri Lanka and certified by Lioyd's Register of Shipping, and the four silver medals are for the flat gate, ship lock and concrete batching plants respectively. In addition, ZHMF has won the prizes of quality control issued by the Ministry of Water Resources & Electric Power and Government of Henan Province separately.
As a large national backbone enterprise of the Ministry of Water Resources and Power Industry, ZHMF has already made remarkable contributions to the construction of water conservancy and electric power industry. 3) Sanmenxia Hydraulic Machinery Factory
Sanmenxia Hydraulic Machinery Factory, a large national backbone enterprise, is specialized in the manufacture of hydro & electric power project steel structure boiler steel structure, and cranes and construction machine, as well as other products for hydro & electric project.
Since 1957, Sanmenxia Hydraulic Machinery Factory had produced sluice gate and penstocks and other steel structure for Sanmenxia hydropower station, heavy repaired the construction machine. Relying on the latest design method, the experience and technologies accumulated during long period of time, the company, guided by the research and design, provides the services of design, manufacture, erection and commissioning as a whole to the clients. The products include various kinds of large gantry crane, cable crane, and gantry crane for power plant, tail water crane, and variety of bridge hoists.

5) Guangdong JME
Guangdong JME (formal Hydraulic and Hydro Electric Machinery Factory of Guangdong Province) was established in 1960. It has been qualified as the first grade of contracting the manufacture of hydro mechanical metal works and erection, and qualified as second grade of contracting the erection for lifting equipment. It has obtained license for the use of hoists issued by the Ministry of Water Resources, obtained the production license for hydro mechanical works and hoist issued by the General Bureau of National Quality Control Inspection and Quarantine, and obtained the certificate for the manufacture and erection maintenance of hoists and gates issued by Guangdong Quality Supervision Bureau. The Quality Certificate of ISO9001 was awarded to Guangdong JME in September 1998. It is engaged in manufacture and erection for hydro mechanical works, lifting equipment, governor of turbine, oil pressure device and electric control equipment.
It has the fixed assets of RMB 40,000,000.00Yuan with powerful technical capacity. The factory covers 30,000 m 2 equipped with large number of advanced equipment for construction, machining, welding and measuring. The designing, processing and testing as well as management of the company will be conducted by the computer.
We have won the title of advanced enterprise issued by the state and province, won the title of the techno-ascensive encouragement by the Ministry of Water Resources, won the title of advance enterprise for civilization construction, and the title of civilized unit by Guangdong province government. Since 1993, we have been appraised as an advanced enterprise well undertaking contract and having credit by Guangdong Administration Bureau of Industry & Commerce. T he excellent product title was issued by the Ministry of Water Resources and Government of Guangdong Province for YT type speed controller for water turbine, and the excellent product title was issued for convolute hoist by Guangdong Province, the excellent product title was issued by the Ministry of Water Resources and Government of Guangdong Province for YDTA type speed controller for water turbine, which was also awarded the state silver medals. 6) Anhui Dredging Engineering Company
Anhui Dredging Engineering Co. Ltd (former Anhui Dredging Engineering Company initially set up in 1950) is located in Bengbu city beside Huai River . It has obtained the qualification certificate of first grade for dredging in the state rivers and lakes, and the qualification certificate of second grade for construction of hydraulic and hydropower projects and civil works. Over the past 50 years, it has become a comprehensive economic entity with intensified capital and technology. It is the professional team in the construction of hydraulic and hydro electric projects with excellent achievements and rich experience, powerful technical capacity and strong economic strength.
It has more than 2200 employees, 300 of them are professional engineers and management personnel among which 20 have senior professional title, 64 have medium professional title and 183 have primary professional title, 20 employees are the first grade project manager, 35 are the second grade project manager.
