Hangzhou JME, invested by Hangzhou Mechanical Design and Research Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources and JME, is engaged in research, design, development and manufacture of the equipment for water conservancy and hydropower construction, mechanical and electrical equipment for power station, and in general contracting. It has been awarded the Engineering consultation Quality Certificate, Engineering Design Certificate, Quality Certificate for General Contracting of Engineering, Quality Certificate for Lifting Equipment of Hydropower Construction, Construction Supervision of Water Conservancy, and Equipment Manufacture Supervision for Water Conservancy Engineering issued by the State Planning Committee, The Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Certificate of Import & Export Enterprise issued by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.

It has strong technical capacity with advanced testing instruments. It has accumulated rich experiences in this field and has undertaken design and manufacture of several important high-tech projects invested by the state such as Three Gorges Project. Some of the products were awarded the Science and Technology Progressive Prize at the national level and the Ministerial level. It is invested by Jianghe Mechanical and Electric Engineering Equipment Co. Ltd of The Ministry of Water Resources, the Electric-power Materials Company of Shangdong Water Resources Bureau, Jinan Gaoxin National funds Operation Corp. Ltd, Baoer Irrigation & Pumping Industrial Engineering Company of Austria, and the Creation Co. Ltd of Cyprus. By introducing the advanced technology and management experiences of Baoer Irrigation & Pumping Industrial Engineering Company of Austria who is famous for manufacturing the largest agricultural irrigation machinery and associated equipment, Shangdong Huataibaoer Irrigation Machinery & Engineering Co. Ltd has produced the irrigation machineries of model "Yuxing" 65TS, 75TS and model "Ourun" 40,and 50 of rolling plate type which are suited to domestic conditions. With the advantages of easy operation, good irrigation results, less investment, obvious water saving, increase of production and profits , these models of machinery are suited to the areas which is seriously lack of water resources in China.
